  • Pretty Little Secrets Review

This super special takes place in the winter break between Unbelievable and Wicked, allowing the Pretty Little Liars to have some holiday fun. As this is four novellas in one, it is a surprisingly wholesome with happy endings for all. Well. . . as happy as things could be in Rosewood with the new A…

  • Pretty Little Liars: Unbelievable Review

Wow, what a ride but it was worth it as we find out who A is and seemingly find out Ali’s killer. When we last left the liars, they were all at their lowest points: Emily is sent to flat land Iowa, Aria’s homeless, Spencer’s plagerism is exposed and she pushed Melissa down the stairs…

  • Pretty Little Liars: Perfect Review

This book is just insane and I mean it in the case of a certain Pretty Little Liar.

  • Pretty Little Liars: Flawless Review

I’m back my pretties with the second book of the Pretty Little Liars series. Like I said before, someone was taking their sweet old time reading and returning it. Anyway, I sped through it and it suspensefully takes off from the cliffhanger Shepard left in the first book.

  • The Dark Artifices Lookback

Ah yes, Clare’s biggest trilogy to date and admittedly my least favorite. Maybe I’m just getting burnt out, or maybe I’m just not connecting to the characters but I won’t be revisiting this series as much as the other two.

  • Author Highlight: Jen Lancaster

So here’s a new one, she may not be as well known or high profile as authors I’ve put in the notable section but damn if she isn’t funny. And well known in her own mind. I’ve read only two of her memoirs, Bitter is the New Black and Pretty in Plaid but they give…

  • Book Highlight: K-Pop Revolution

Stephan Lee delivers a highly satisfying sequel/conclusion to K-Pop Confidential with Revolution as Candace becomes the head of big changes in the K-Pop industry and S.A.Y. Entertainment. Or so she thinks? With the bombshell she dropped on live television, Candace’s life is left in what seems to be ruins but with the widespread support she gains…

  • Kelly Thompson Interview

    1. How did you get started in the comic industry? I actually went to college to study comics, I graduated from The Savannah College of Art & Design with a degree in Sequential Art. I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything, but it’s absolutely not necessary to have that experience in order to break in…

  • Book Highlight: Song of the Lioness

Ah, The Song of the Lionness. The quartet that helped put Tamora Pierce on the map as premiere fantasy novelist with a feminist hero for the ages. It also founded the expansive Tortall universe. Since the books have been around since the 80s I’m not going to repeat what happens in them. Everyone has probably…
